Prepare for law school

History majors interested in applying to law school should open a pre-law file with Adelphi’s Office of Pre-Professional Advising and Fellowships, and should meet regularly with pre-law advisers. Prepare for a teaching career

Adelphi’s Department of History offers a unique combined baccalaureate/master’s five year program  which allows students to major in history and also fulfill courses in education that will lead to New York State teaching certification.

See the Scholar Teacher Education Program (STEP) Master of Arts Programs in Childhood Education and Adolescence Education offered in association with the Adelphi University Ruth S. Ammon School of Education.
